Sakura or cherry blossom symbolizes spring in Japan and the festive season begins everywhere in Japan. Cherry blossom which has been anticipated as it marks the beginning of new season literally brings excitement among people, so much so that local parks big and small with cherry blossoms throughout Japan reserve space under the tree for people to have parties. It's not uncommon to see a group of grown adults becoming a little rowdy after having too much sake in broad daylight.

A ryokan hidden in Tokyo's quiet neighborhood

John introduces a ryokan, a Japanese style inn in an unassuming neighborhood most likely known only to the locals.  As the video host enters the architecture with an ascetically pleasing facade, traditionally designed interior looks welcoming. The room is very small which may be one step up from a capsule hotel, but a comfortable place to sleep.
