Sushi Blog — machiya

Kyoto preserves Machiya or traditional Japanese houses built before 1950's, among the backdrop of modern buildings.  What is unique about the architecture is the technique used in its construction.  No nails were used. The video explores these old fashion houses and reveals how tenants find their experience.
