Must-visit Onsen in Atami

Although tattoos exist in Japan, they are hardly visible in public.  People feel intimidated by someone with tattoos because they are associated with Yakuza, or members of organized crime groups.  This is why places including Onsen where skin is exposed do not allow people with tattoos.  This once underground culture is viewed more favorably today due to Western influence.  Paolo introduces an Onsen where anyone can enjoy public bathing.
