How to Make Nigiri Sushi

While sushi rolls are for novice as they are fairly easy and fun to make, nigiri sushi are for the advanced as they requires skills to make it look right. You first need sushi-grade fish. Ask at the seafood counter in an Asian market for what you want for sushi. Any sushi-grade seafood you buy should be prepared and consumed the same day.

You also need a very sharp knife for slicing fish with a least damage. For best result, use the most part of the knife.

Shaping sushi rice to the right shape and size takes some practice. Using a sushi mould, you can create a perfect nigiri size sushi rice every time. Sushi moulds are inexpensive and worth your investment.
